He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thelma Jewel Flatt and Aaron Clifford Flatt of Bloomington Springs; his children, Sean Flatt (Hillary), Kasey Nichols (John) of Cookeville and Kayla Satterfield (Dalton) of Cookeville; his grandchildren, Josiah of Cookeville, Silas of Cookeville, John David Nichols of Cookeville, Zane of Cookeville and Pate Flatt of Cookeville; his sister Linda Randolph (Don) of Cookeville; his mother-in-law Joan Dyer of Cookeville; his siblings-in-law, Linda Loftis of Cookeville, Steve Loftis (Pat) of Seneca, Mark Loftis (Tammy) of Algood, Alan Loftis (Angie) of Cookeville, Russell Dyer (Janet) of Cookeville and Martha Dyer of Cookeville; his cousin Sandy Jacobson (Eric); his wife Judy Flatt; his brother-in-law Mike Loftis; his father-in-law Johnny Ray Loftis; and his stepfather-in-law Paul Dyer. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
