She was predeceased by: her husband J. T. Kennedy; her parents, Truman DeVault and Ada DeVault; her siblings, Luna, Newell, John, O. D. DeVault, Reba Campbell and Blonde Mynatt; and her son-in-law Randy Blackburn.
She is survived by: her daughter Andrea Blackburn of Jasper; her grandchildren, Amy Tompkins (Eric) of Smyrna and Will Blackburn of San Francisco; her great grandchildren, Theo and Gus Tompkins; and her sister Imogene Shipe. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
