She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Sands. She is survived by: her brother-in-law Jimmy Oxendine (Mary) of Blaine; her nephews, Daniel (April Oxendine) and Rev. Eddie Oxendine (Sarah) of Maynardville; and her niece Carolyn McBee (Gene) of Luttrell.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary (220 TN-61, Maynardville, TN 37807). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel (220 TN-61, Maynardville, TN 37807). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Eastview Memorial Gardens (1320 Andrew Johnson Hwy, Strawberry Plains, TN 37871).
