He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Maples; his sons, Steve Maples and Keith Maples (Robin); his siblings, Floyd Maples (Peanut), Joyce Rutherford, Shirley Mennex and Deloris Rodney; his grandchildren, Stephanie Dupree (Mark), Chris Maples, Matthew Maples (Kim), Kayla Langley (Nick), Steven Maples, Jacob Maples and Emily Watson (Bo); and his close friends, Jess and Mary Ruth Mayes. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
