He is survived by: his wife Joyce Maples Rutherford; and his daughters, Vicki Martin (Danny), Micki Heatherly (James), Kathy Pappas (Jeff) and Jamie Carter (Tim). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
