She was predeceased by: her parents, Exie Stewart Gordon and Berthold Allen Chastain; her husband Thomas Winfrey Swilling; and her children, Danny Lamar Swilling and Tina Swilling Falkowski.
She is survived by: her sister Syble Gordon Priehs of Montezuma; her children, Thomas Allen Swilling of Hixon, Ralph Stephen Swilling of Cherokee, NC and Cheri Yvette Childs (Jonathan); and her grandchildren, Helen Warren, Thomas Swilling III, Adam Swilling, Carl Swilling, Matt Swilling, Dustin Swilling, Misty Johnson (Mark) and Cristy Shahan. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
