She is survived by: her spouse Howard F. Newell, Sr.; her daughter Lynn Newell of Chattanooga; her granddaughter Rhonda Boller (Bryon) of Ooltewah; and her sister-in-law Ruby Lawson of Athens. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
