Joyce Hickman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Hickman of Birchwood, Tennessee, who passed away on November 27, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin and Mary Martha Williams; and her brothers, Robert, Billy Joe and Darwin Williams.
She is survived by: her husband John David Hickman; her daughters, Sheila Lindsey (Alvin) and Mary Ann Smith; her grandchildren, Andrew Goodner, Amy Goodner Basham (Trista) and Jeremy Lindsey (Mary Beth); her great grandchildren, Shay, Nevaeh Lindsey, Katrina and Landon Smith; her siblings, Ben Williams, Doug Williams (Linda), Jerry Williams (Shirley) and Margaret Hewitt; her in-laws, Nancy Williams, Mary Lucille Sims, Jewell Ward, Ladonna Hickman and Opal Ruth Slater; and her close friends, Alan and Sandra Wilsey. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Birchwood Baptist Church (5436 TN-60, Birchwood, TN 37308). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
