He is survived by: his children, Jessie Scoggins (Tara Laymon), Tommie Shelton (John), Marcella Gosselin, Ida Scoggins, Tonya Scoggins and Tina Cook; and his siblings, David Scoggins, Sandy Brannon, Connie Strickland and Phyllis Price. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
