He was predeceased by: his parents, John Willard Varnadore and Della Irene Varnadore Griffin; and his siblings, Leona Griffin, Kenneth Varnadore, Emma Lee Surrency, Lorene Eicher, Ruth Lee Pearson Risen, Betty Jean Mixon Jacobs and Mattie Lou Sweat.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie "Donald" Varnadore, Jr. (Joyce) of Blackshear, GA and Susan Messer (Brent) of Birchwood, TN; his brother Dennis Dale Varnadore of Brunswick, GA; and his former wife Dixie Burr Varnadore. He is also survived by one grandson, two granddaughters, two great grandsons.
