He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Burnside and Gladys Young Burnside; and his brother Edward Burnside Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Burnside of Big Sandy, Tennessee; his children, Randy J. Burnside of Big Sandy, Tennessee, Pam Jones (James) of Camden, Debra Burnside of Buffalo, Deanna Fitchpatrick (Josh) of Buffalo and Michelle Hart (Steven) of Ormond Beach, Florida; and his siblings, Gene Burnside (Betty) of Orlando, Charles Burnside (Sandra) of Shinnston and Elaine Sue Dixon (Harold) of North View.
