He was predeceased by: his mother Gladys Marie Davis Winfrey. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Myra Winfrey; his children, William Thomas Winfrey (Rebecca), Trevor Clay Winfrey (Moriah), Tyler Cole Winfrey (Jessie), Christie Marie Butler (Eugene) and Kaycee Myra Sykes; his father George Braxton Winfrey; and his brother Randy Winfrey (Donna). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Bethel Church of God or Gentiva Hospice in memory of Clay.
