He was predeceased by: his parents, James Elvis and Annie Lou Troutt Rippy; his wife Wanda Pedigo Rippy; his son Kenny Conneith Rippy; and his sister Willene Cole.
He is survived by: his daughter Vonnesia Wynette Brown (Dewayne); his grandchildren, DeKendra Annette Rippy, Tiffany Nichole Brown, Keenan James Rippy and Kaitlin Ann Rippy; his great grandchildren, Dewayne Mitchell Rippy, Tieazia Adcock and Skyla Adcock; his great great grandchild Theo Davis; and his nephew Mark Cole.
