He was predeceased by: his parents, W. T. Shrum and Virginia Sullivan Shrum; and his brother Danny Shrum. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Goolsby Shrum of Bethpage; his children, Tim Shrum of Bethpage, Dylan Ferguson of Nashville, Terri White (Ricky) of Portland and Cristy Eden of Hartsville; his sister Brenda Spears (William) of Castalian Springs; his sister-in-law Shirley Shrum of Bethpage; and his grandchildren, Dakota Shrum (Cayla), Landen Shrum, Christina Castell, Dixie White, Callye White, James Eden and Breanna Diaz (Christian). He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin to assist the family with expenses.
