She was predeceased by: her parents, Houston Tanksley and Rosalie Pruett Tillman; her son James Thomas Williams, Jr.; and her grandson J. B. Williams. She is survived by: her siblings, Nancy Tillman Mayes of Bethpage and Scotty Tillman of Westmoreland; and her grandson Evan Williams of Roanoake, VA..
