He is survived by: his wife Kayron McGrew; his children, Laurie Walters (Alan), Jennifer Conyer (Phillip), Suzanne McGrew and Micheal Guss; his grandchildren, Kailey Walters, Chad Walters, Logan Conyer, Sean McGrew, Landon Conyer and Caleb McGrew; his sister Frances Cunningham; his niece Debra Martin; and his mother-in-law Martha Likens.
Memorial donations can be made in James's name to the American Cancer Society.
