It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Lynn Pippin of Bethpage, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dozier Martin Pippin and Dorothy Ann Qualls Pippin; his wife Anita Kathleen Lowery Pippin; and his siblings, Linda Bartel and Jerry Pippin.
He is survived by: his children, David Kane Pippin (Lisa) of Cottontown, Allison Bowers (Grant) of Bethpage and Rachael Thompson (Justin) of Gallatin; his siblings, Jimmy Pippin (Lynda) of Gallatin, Leon Pippin (Eva) of Portland, Danny Pippin (Lisa) of Murfreesboro, Laverne Martin (Jerry) of Gallatin and Lavinia Pearson (Billy) of Gallatin; his grandchildren, Lacey Reed (Chelsea), Drew Bowers, Ava Thompson, Rylee Bowers and John Levi Thompson; and his great grandchild Waylon "Blue" Bowers.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gallatin (100 Albert Gallatin Ave, Gallatin, TN 37066). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at the Sumner Memorial Gardens (420 Albert Gallatin Ave, Gallatin, TN 37066).
