He was predeceased by: his parents, Goldman Virgil Douglas and Lexi Luann Perdue. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Chatman (Darrell) of Portland, Charles Walter Douglas Jr. (Angela) of Portland, Heather Damico of Bethpage and Stuart Douglas of Bethpage; and his sister Rebecca Brown of Gainesboro. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren.
