It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Mai Gammons (Bethpage, Tennessee), born in Macon, Tennessee, who passed away on March 14, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Miller Woodson Gammons, Sr.; her son Miller Woodson Gammons, Jr.; and her grandchildren, David Vibbert and Randy Smith. She is survived by: her significant other Raymond Allen Summers of Bethpage; her daughters, Rosemary Gammons of Gallatin, Patsy Ann Shehane of Portland and Peggy Moniz (Craig) of Bethpage; her stepson Raymond Lee Summers (Lori) of Bethpage; and her siblings, Wayne Hix (Elaine) of Lebanon, Jim Hix (Annabelle) of Hartsville, Joanne Pedigo of Lebanon and Nannie Satterfield. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
