He is survived by: his wife Georgia Boyd of Bethel Springs, TN; his children, Mike Boyd (Vicki) of Bethel Springs, TN, Alesia Steed (Richard) of Bethel Springs, TN and George Boyd (Mitsy) of Selmer, TN; his grandchildren, Melissa Shettles, Chuck Boyd, Tisha Plunk, Brandy Jones, Dustin Ruth, Derek Boyd, Darby Gunn and Delana Boyd; and his great grandchildren, Jakob Harris, Hadley Shettles, Devon Boyd, Matthew Plunk, Chloe Plunk, Drake Ruth, Sawyer Ruth, Emily Gunn, Lily Aldridge, Mazie Jones and Shelby Jones. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
