He was predeceased by: his parents, George Burris and Gertrude Burris; his wife Lucille Womac Burris; and his siblings, Tommy Burris, Stella Collins and Gaynelle Parker.
He is survived by: his sister Inez Crump. He is also survived by four nephews, three nieces, and numerous extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made the Friendship Baptist Church in Delano.
