He was predeceased by: his parents, O. R. Cross and Ruby Leona Chatman Cross; his sons, Anthony "Tony" Cross and Dennis Lee Cross; and his siblings, Fred Cross, Ray "Bo" Cross, Betty Jean Cross, Carolyn Blackwell and Bobby Cross.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Bishop Cross; his daughter Tonya Richardson (Anthony); his grandchildren, Caylie Lowe (Tristen) and Clay Richardson (Emily Bates); his sister Judy Perian (Winston); and his sister-in-law Frances "Fran" Cross. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
