She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Emerson and Thelma Emerson; her husband Clifton Rymer; her daughter Linda Wallace; her stepson Stacy Rymer; and her brother Willard Emerson.
She is survived by: her sons, Danny Caldwell (Mindy) and David Caldwell (Lorie); and her siblings, Ruth Laughter (Dewayne), Dorothy Cooper and Clyde Emerson (Sue). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
