She was predeceased by: her husband Elbert Owens; her mother Callie Goforth; her children, Bobby Owens and Joan Moats; and her siblings, Ella Humphreys, Easter Ellis, Letcher Goforth, Elsie Wright and Virgil Goforth.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Quarles, Edward Owens, Bill Owens and Chad Moats (Lacey); and her brother R. B. Goforth. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great –grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
