She was predeceased by: her husband Reverend George Andrew Owens; her children, Cecilia Murray, Kay Green and Johnny Owens; her parents, Julius Rymer and Ethel Rymer; and her siblings, Charmie Johnson, Author Rymer and Eugene Rymer.
She is survived by: her children, Gilbert Owens, Brenda Owens of Chattanooga, TN, Becky Calhoun and Terry Calhoun of Benton, TN; her children-in-law, Pat Owens and Ron Green; and her siblings, Kay Harper, Shirlene Nicholson, Phyllis Morris, Glenda Smith and Garland Rymer. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and fourteen great-great grandchildren.
