He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. William Lafayette "Bill" and Martha Donnie Forrester Lee; and his wife Patsy Wiley Lee. He is survived by: his children, James Lee Jr. (Kelley), Jamie Cline (Derek) and Jennifer Crumley (DeVance); his grandchildren, Travis Lee (Laura), Faith Burke (Chuck), Hunter Cline (Emily), McKenzie Crumley, Aubrey Lee, Trey Starkes (Becca) and Isaiah Starkes; his great grandchildren, Scarlett Lee, Isabelle Cline, Carter Burke and Bentley Starkes; and his sisters-in-law, Lucille Cavin and Josephine Wall.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Calhoun (107 Church St, Calhoun, TN 37309). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calhoun Community Cemetery (105 6th St, Calhoun, TN 37309).
