He was predeceased by: his son Adam Stillwell; his parents, Judge L. Roy and Ruth Stillwell; and his brother Franklin "Tony" Stillwell. He is survived by: his wife Sharion Stillwell; his children, Victoria Holmes (Armand), Naaman Stillwell (Kaitlyn) and Olivia Akins (Zack); his grandchildren, Cheyenne Stillwell, Chisholm Holmes, Gabriel Stillwell and Stella Akins; his nephews, Dr. James Stillwell, RJ Stillwell and Jeff Stillwell; and his siblings, Charlene Lewis (Ronnie), Scott Swafford (Cynthia), Haskell Swafford (Cindy), Ted Swafford (Sarah), Nathan Swafford (Natalie), Morris Swafford (Deborah), Jeffrey Swafford (Annette) and Frances Williams (Mark). He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in memory of Adam Stillwell or Wetmore Baptist Church Outreach Ministry.
