It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Ruth Churchwell of Benton, Tennessee, who passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Collette and Opal Collette; her sisters, Doris Smith and Jean Matthews; her siblings-in-law, Kenneth Smith, Jack Matthews and Shirley Collette; and her nephews, Jimmy Smith and Tony Collette.
She is survived by: her husband Jon Churchwell; her daughters, Pam Poteet and Jana; her son-in-law Mitch Pankey; her grandchildren, Summer Poteet, Ethan Poteet (Neely), Matt Pankey and Clay Pankey (Keri Beth); and her brother Earl Collette. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
