Franks of Benton, Tennessee, born in Athens, Tennessee, who passed away on June 19, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Luis and Edith Williams Franks; his wife Mary Lou McDonald Franks; his grandson Kevin Trew; and his siblings, Virgil Franks, Joseph Franks, Johnny Franks, Barbara Franks, Faye Franks and Dwight Franks.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Shelia Trew (Michael); his grandson Nick Trew; and his sisters, Angie Murphy (Charles), Sharon Ross (Russell), Sylvia Brown, Shirley Franks Price and Wawanna Derrick.
