He is survived by: his wife Melissa Parks; his sons, Desmon Benton (Cassidy) and Donald Benton (Shelly); his sister Judy Jarrett; his grandchildren, Lanaya Miller (Eric), Ezra Benton, Ariana Benton, Desmon Benton Jr., Hannah Benton and Caleb Green; his great grandchildren, Ace Melton, Nyla Miller, Eric Miller II, Dream Benton and Ever Miller; and his parents-in-law, Diane Long and Bob Long. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
