He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Green Harbison; his parents, George Winston and Ella Eaves Harbison; his brother Winfred Harbison; and his sisters-in-law, JoAnn Finnell and Vera Greene.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Harbison (Rita) and Chris Harbison (Louise); his grandchildren, Allyson Hannah (Kyle Miller), Lindsey Surlas (Jason), Christen Harbison, Greer Harbison and Brown Harbison; his great grandchildren, Logan Brewer (Liz Simmons), Luke Hannah, Charlie Hannah, Chloe Surlas and Chase Surlas; his stepgranddaughters, Laura McKinney (Sean), Lisa Inglis and Aubrey Hannah Powell; his nieces, Cynthia Harbison Johnstone and Karen Harbison Taylor; his nephew Joseph Harbison; his brother-in-law W. A. Green, Jr. (Joyce); his close friend Ralph Bates; and also, Ana Carden, Evan Inglis and Debbie Jones.
