He was predeceased by: his father Willis Edward "Hoop" McDonald; his grandparents, Traynor, Stella McDonald, Tom and Carrie Taylor; and his uncle T. J. McDonald.
He is survived by: his mother Mary Taylor McDonald; his son Chaz McDonald; his brother Tommy McDonald (Julie); his niece Katey McDonald; and his nephew Lige McDonald. He is also survived by his family and friends.
