He was predeceased by: his parents, S. J. Wright and Rosabelle Wright (Scott); his daughter-in-law Robin Wright; and his brother-in-law Billy Kelly. He is survived by: his close friend Sparky; his wife Peggy Wright; his sons, Michael "Mike" Wright of Cowan, James Douglas Wright (Cathy) of Lynchburg, Ricky Jay Wright (Jayda) of Winchester and Daniel Joseph Wright (Beth) of Peru, Indiana; and his sisters, Zora Kelly of Belvidere and Carolyn Cook (George) of Huntland. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
