Samuel M. Finney II Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Samuel M. Finney II of Belvidere, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 10, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Riley and Margaret Finney (Morgan); his siblings, Mary Doreen Brent, Roger Finney and Carl Finney; his parents-in-law, Floyd and Evelyn Miller; and his brother-in-law Herman Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Jean Finney; his sons, Sam Finney III (Marla) and Steven Finney (Tonya); his grandchildren, Sam Finney IV (Amber), Mason Finney, Zachary Toups, Steven Finney II, Claire Finney, Lydia Bowman and Samantha Bowman; his great grandchildren, Sam Finney V and Eloise Finney; his sister Diane Rathman; and his siblings-in-law, Norma Stephens, Kathy Matthews, Dana Jayne and Troy Miller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home (300 1st Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
