He was predeceased by: his parents, Hustus Vernon and Merle Amanda Phillips (Faircloth); and his brothers, Al Phillips and David Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Colleen Phillips; his children, Michael Phillips (Megan), Kayla Shugart (Taylor), Ashley Janes and Jesse Bussinger (Kristian); his grandsons, Michael and Maxwell; and his siblings, Ronnie Phillips (Deedee) and Linda Roberts (Warnie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home (300 1st Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398). A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
