She is survived by: her children, Kathy Rodriguez, Anna Batterson, Crystal Martin, Martin Ruelas and Michael Ruelas; her grandchildren, Josh, Anthony, Rudy, Lewis, Chelo, J. J., Austin, Jacob, Taylor, Jason, Addy, Andrew, Chelsey, Mason and Destiny; and her sister Rose Mauldin.
