It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garland Richard Turner of Belvidere, Tennessee, born in Franklin, Tennessee, who passed away on August 12, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Turner and Edith Turner; and his siblings, Julia Tipton, Carrah Belle Arnold, Naomi March of Eugene Turner, R. D, Ira Turner and James Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Turner; his children, Garland Richard Turner Jr. of Columbus, Georgia, Glenn Turner (Margaret) of Huntsville and Gerald Turner (Lisa) of Huntsville, Alabama; his grandchildren, Austin (Darby), Caitlin, Owen and Garrett; his brother Malcom Turner (Mary) of Tullahoma; and his siblings-in-law, Peggy Turner of Manchester and Paul March of Charleston. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
