She was predeceased by: her parents, Hypolite Vead and Rosalie Grantadams Vead; her husband Robert Looney; and her siblings, Corrine Laborde, Virgie Bordelon, Norman Joseph Vead, Evan Pierre Vead, Thomas Vead and Rosney Joseph Vead.

She is survived by: her children, Robert T. Looney, Jr. (Kathleen), Steve P. Looney (Margie) and Polite James Looney (Deborah). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
