He was predeceased by: his parents, James Richard Stoneburner and Laura Miller Stoneburner; his wife Patricia Joy Patterson Stoneburner; his sons, Bruce Davis and Scotty Davis; his siblings, Herman, James, Howard C., Paul Stoneburner, Mary Elizabeth Holland, Rosie Mae Smyth, Sara Frances Marlin and Virginia Sue Stoneburner; and the mothers of child, Brenda Fay Hart and Martha Sue Rhodes.
He is survived by: his children, Carl Stoneburner of Blue Goose, TN, Eric Davis of Maryville, TN and Gina Lynne Stoneburner Ellington of Bells, TN; his brother Harley Tom Stoneburner (Bonnie) of Ridgely, TN; and his close friend Dorothy Phillips of Jackson, TN. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Bells Funeral Home (5342 College St, Bells, TN 38006). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 3:15 PM to 3:30 PM at the Walnut Hill Baptist Church Cemetery (1225 Walnut Hill Church Rd, Bells, TN 38006).
