With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maurice Alfred Hayes of Bells, Tennessee, born in Alamo, Tennessee, who passed away on December 6, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James B. Hayes and Hattie Stewart Hayes; and his siblings, Lucille Stokes, Pansey Bryant, Mary Frances Hensley, Martha Pinkston, Alvis Williams, Wilson Williams and James B. "Jim" Hayes, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Judy Davis Hayes of Bells; his daughters, Rhonda Hart (Jimmy) of Fruitvale, Gail Cooke (Barry) of Alamo and Jennie O'Donnell (Bob) of Bells; his grandchildren, Katie Pigue (Daniel), Sarah Harding (Bryan), Bill Henderson (Jamie), Tara Henderson, Charleston O'Donnell (Leslie), Hayes O'Donnell, Davis O'Donnell (Hayden) and Joseph O'Donnell; and his great grandchildren, Luke Pigue, Aiden Pigue, Ellie Pigue, Logan Harding, Nela Harding, Isabel Henderson, Clark Henderson, Hutch Henderson and Simon Cates.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be directed to Bells First Baptist Church, NOAH or a chairity of the donor's choice in memory of Mr. Hayes.
