He was predeceased by: his brother Jerry Harber Skelton. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Skelton; his sons, Ricky Skelton (Karen) and Brian Skelton (Monica); and his grandchildren, Richard Chace Skelton, Robert Joseph Skelton, Hunter Daniel Skelton and Christopher Heath Skelton.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Cypress Cemetery Fund or to Neighbors Offering Assistance and Hope (H.O.P.E.).
