We are sad to announce that on January 30, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Bill Emerson (Bells, Tennessee), born in Fruitvale, Tennessee. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Bill Emerson to show support.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Malcolm Emerson and Maggie Lou Emerson; his son John Ollie Emerson; his wife June Stephens Emerson; his children, Vince, Lori and Jill; and his children-in-law, Kay, Otti and John Nelson. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and 2 step great grandsons.

Visitation will be conducted on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the Cypress United Methodist Church from 1:00 P. M. until 3:00 P. M. COVID-19 protocol will be enforced, please social distance and wear a mask.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Cypress United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund or Cypress Cares Fund.

Robert Stephenson wrote a sympathy message

“It's a bit awkward for me to call him Mr. Bill because I always knew him as "coach". I have great memories of basketball and baseball practices and games under his guidance. Going to the state basketball tournament in Knoxville in 1967 was the ultimate thrill. Coach Emerson obviously has left his mark on the lives and careers of countless others by his leadership in the education system. I wish his family peace and comfort during this difficult time.
