He was predeceased by: his significant other Joanne Pruitt Reddell; his son John Alvin Reddell Jr. "Alvin"; his siblings, Jerry, Kenneth, Larry Reddell and Mildred Wallace; and his parents, Anderson Reddell and Josie Reddell.
He is survived by: his sisters, Alma Mullendore Hull, Elva Cash, Thelma Bearden, Nellie Reddell, Nora Marie Mills and Helen Huggins; his children, Amy Reyes (Juan) and Eric Reddell (Pam); his daughter-in-law Michelle Reddell; and his grandchildren, Josie Reyes of Murfreesboro, Ian Reyes of Murfreesboro, Lola Reyes of Murfreesboro, Iris Reyes of Murfreesboro, Hayley Reddell of Murfreesboro, John Will Reddell of Murfreesboro, Anderson Reddell of Murfreesboro and Leighton Reddell of Murfreesboro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
