She was predeceased by: her parents, Harris Ward and Gladys Clark Ward; her husband Samuel Reid Rucker, III; her son David Lee Rucker; and her siblings, Phillip Ward and Connie Lee Pratt.
She is survived by: her children, Samuel "Reid" Rucker, IV (Debbie) of Pahrump, NV, Dale Keith Rucker (Linda) of Bell Buckle, TN, Betty Dawn Brown (Brad) of Suffolk, VA and Jennifer Rucker Jones of Bell Buckle, TN; her children-in-law, Mary Brewster Rucker of Shelbyville, TN and Larry C. Jones, Jr. of Morrison, TN; her grandchildren, Jeannetta Norris (Jay), Jessica Basinger (John), Daniel Rucker (Amanda), Stephanie Rucker, Marianna Gibson (Andy), Ryan Brown (Crystal), Matthew Brown and Savanna Ruis (Lance); and her siblings, Lloyd, Doug, Paul Ward, Judy Alexander and Mary LaBianco. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Faith Baptist Church Missions.
