He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby Lee Lindsey; his parents, Atlas Archie Lindsey and Lotterine Carter Linsdey; his son-in-law Lucien DeSheles; and his siblings, Myra Rebecca Hurst, Carolyn Jane Donnelly, Judy Gammon, Margaret Harris, Jeanette Williams, Betty Lindsey Conger, Atlas Lindsey Jr. and James Thomas Lindsey.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Johnson (David), Susan DeSheles, Debbie Gardner, Troy Lindsey (Sharon) and Justin Lindsey (Frances); and his siblings, Janice Dawn Clapper, David Carter Lindsey and Roy Earl Lindsey (Kim). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
