He is survived by: his wife Joyce Simmons of Belfast; his children, Rodney Simmons (Dana) of Kissimme, FL and Felicia Ekkert (Bill) of Lockport, IL; his brothers, Dennis Simmons and Dallas Simmons; and his daughter-in-law Tina Simmons of McMinnville. He is also survived by five grandchildren;five great-grandchildren.
