It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Enrique Morantes of Belfast, Tennessee, born in Alice, Texas, who passed away on September 12, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Morantes and Reyes Garza Morantes; and his brother Raymond Morantes. He is survived by: his wife Micha Shin of Belfast; his children, Laura Utter of Belfast, Nancy Shindler of Sherman, TX, Enrique Ernesto, Jr. (Oxnard) and Richard Park; his grandchildren, Johnny Park, Mason Morantes, Meagan Shindler, Aiden Shindler, Sasha Utter and Sophia Utter; and his siblings, Daniel Morantes, Jr., David Morantes, Delia Rodriguez, Alicia Salinas, Frances Salinas and Maria Ester DeLeon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
