She was predeceased by: her father William Dennis Knight; her brother Houston Knight; her son-in-law Kendal Wooten; and her stepson Little Jerry Tate. She is survived by: her husband Jerry L. "Pa" Tate; her mother Georgia Nunley Knight; her daughters, Kristy Wanamaker (Steven Tittsworth), Mendy Scruggs (Jeffery) and Miriah Wooten; and her brother Rowland Knight. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
