He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Thomas Forsyth and Sarah Rhevena Baker Forsyth. He is survived by: his siblings, Rose Pease, Delma Meeks, Robert, A. C. Forsyth and Roger Dale Forsyth; his children, Michael (Ginger), Marty (Jack Eslick), Darren Forsyth (Monica) and Tennille Beaty (Keith); his siblings, Roy Forsyth (Tincey) and Emma Fincher; his close friend Linda McGee; and his grandchildren, Candice King (Jamie), Michael J. Forsyth (Kaylea), Austin Beaty, Marisa Beaty, Kimberly Darby (Bill) and Kristen Forsyth (Damion Sanders). He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Layne Funeral Home (182 Fitchtown Rd, Altamont, TN 37301). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at the Walker Cemetery.
