She is survived by: her husband Alfred Benson Whitman; her siblings, Don Campbell, Patsy Gail and Anita Kay Campbell; her children, Dwayne Whitman (Cindy), Michael Whitman (Wanda) and Karen Dickerson (David); her sister Karleen Barrett (Charlie); her grandchildren, Edwin Whitman, John David Dickerson, Amelia Owenby (Tristan), Olivia Whitman and Allison Dickerson; and her great grandchild Holley Ruth. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bess-King-Whitman Cemetery.
